Powys Carriage Driving Group

There were 15 entries forward on the day and thanks to helpful members setting up dressage, cones and obstacle equipment the event ran to time and there were no hicups. The affiliated classes were very well supported with 4 in Open Horse, 3 in Open Pony and 3 in Novice Pony. Averrina Snow drove her lovely grey pony pair in the multiples class and Michelle Peters her Friesian in Novice Horse. There were 3 juniors taking part who all drove exceptionally well and two small ponies under 10 hands ...

The inaugral World Championships for Scurry & Trials was held from 12-14th September at Sandringham and our club came back with a three medals ! The Welsh team was made up of four drivers and we also sent two individuals.It was an amazing achievement that every person selected was a member of the club and the icing on the cake that they performed so well at their first event as a team .
