Powys Carriage Driving Group

Sadly there is a great deal of flooding across the region and especially around Usk. With more heavy rain and high winds forecast for Friday into Satrurday the decision has been taken to cancel . It's not worth risking our  precious horses and ponies on the journey to and from the event . 

Our next events are the IHDT at Llwynon on Sunday 19th January and the dressage , training and cones ? arena Challenge at Usk on Saturday 11th January.

Indoor Driving Trial enthusiasts enjoyed another exciting affiliated competition at the weekend with twelve entries forward for the December event. The pace is hotting up with local Powys Carriage Driving Group members keen to qualify for the National Championships in April and the cones driving was particularly skilful with few time penalties and knockdowns. Jonathan Rees winner again in Open Horse had a superb double clear and was, as usual, extremely fast through the obstacles.
