Fantastic competition today! Young Emily Curnock, novice junior was a top scorer in all three phases taking the novice dressage, the best cones score - only one penalty - and really fast obstacles to win the Novice class and gain the second best score of the day. Emily Ham and Jonathan Rees were neck and neck in the open classes with 18.5 and best dressage, 5 time penalties for Emily in cones, one time penalty but a ball down for Jonathan and both really fast in the obstacles - Emily Ham ...

Spectators and would be carriage drivers MOST welcome! There are fewer entries this month so lots of chances to practise for Keysoe after the competition rounds have taken place...more goes driving cones and trying different routes in the obstacles and extra advice for dressage! Looking forward to seeing you .

Fast, furious and fun! The first affiliated indoor driving trial of 2016 in Wales was an exciting event. Affiliated indoor trials are run through the winter by Powys Carriage Driving Group with competitors coming from afar, from South Wales and Shropshire, to take on local club members and try to qualify for the Indoor Championships at Keysoe in April. Four pony pairs took part with Rowena Moyse winning the class.

This year the club enjoyed a wonderful evening at The White House Sennybridge.The Christmas meal was delicious and as well as good food and drink and conversation we held a small raffle and played a version of Christmas Bingo that was good fun. Members came from as far afield as the Preselli Hills !

Members enjoyed 12 different mini competitions on the 6th December starting with clear round cones - won by Jane Logan who drove all three rounds clear with her lovely Section A scurry ponies. Rhian Ralph won the long reining cones bringing out Yanto for his first event and also long reining and driving Merlin.Emily Ham won the next run of competitions with Hammy Ham, second in the Derby going one better and taking the last event - the speed Arena Challenge.
