The next event is 4th December with a festive theme .... Christmas food and decorations  and please feel free to dress up in the spirit of Christmas  to add to the fun ! Prize for the one voted best fancy dress!

 A full day's driving with  dressage before 1pm , and the cones and obstacles after 1pm.

The indoor event on 6th November was very exciting with fourteen drivers taking part. There was hard fought competition In the Open classes with unbelievably close finishing scores!!Emily driving Jacqui Bevan’s coloured pony Jack finished with 125.5 penalties and on this occasion Gwyn won Open Horse with 125.6 pens just another one tent...

Powys Carriage Driving group are thrilled to be the organisers of the Mid Wales Area for the Indoor Horse Driving Trials. The series of winter three phase driving trials will allow competitors to qualify from Novice Pony , Novice Horse , Open Pony, Open Horse, Multiples , Small Pony and Junior and Veteran drivers.

Our six events run one a month at Llwynon Saddlery , near Trecastle.

It’s been a very busy summer for the club with new ventures such as the arena Challenge competitions being extremely popular. The club has been asked by several show committees to run demonstration competitions – with two main ring performances at Llangynidr Show and an arena set aside for this purpose at Beulah . We have taken an information tent and the rein machine to these and to Vaynor and Brecon County Show  and have had a great deal of interest in driving from the publ...

A full day’s driving started at 11am with showing turnout class (Class 82) aimed at grassroots drivers – any horse and vehicle.The standard was so high the judge awarded a joint first. Well done Jacqui and Rachel with their young pony Ben and also to Sue and Toby.

A great day was had by members at the Llangynidr show. The club organised 2 carriage driving demos and competitions in the main ring and pulled quite a crowd. Photos of the event are available in the gallery. This is one to book into your diaries for next year!
