Hi everyone ! There are fancy dress prizes for this event for all the spectators as well as driven turnouts who wear fancy dress with a Christmas theme ! The Event on October 28th was a great success with 11 drivers and 2 long reining competitors. Nearly everyone , including our BD Dressage judge Sandra Fisher , dressed up in the most amazing Halloween themed costumes and ponies and carriages were also magnificent ! Big Penguin made special luminous rosettes , kindly sponsored by Janice and Peter Sidebottom . The new obstacles, which were also spookily decorated, were much admired and drove really well , being substantial they do not fall over...

Emily was thrilled to take the BHDTA Young Drivers Championship in the 19 - 25 year category at Henbury Hall. A good dressage test , followed by a blazing double clear in the cones left her 1 penalty adfrift but a storming marathon in very difficult driving conditrions resulted in a convincing win for our 21 year old training officer. The weather was kind and we had glorious sunshine for our two cones challenge competitions in the main ring at Llangynidr Show . Round one , the first event in the main ring drew in the crowds and competition soon hotted up with Pat's Charlie finding early form to win over the three rounds from Vicky Keward with Howell , Neil driving Charlie was a gallant third.
