9am stewards arrive..NO horses before 9.30
except the Curnocks who should be ready to harness for the safety assessment at 9.30
9.30 – 10.15 All horses to arrive within this period and lorries to be parked as directed. Horses NOT to be harnessed up. . Please give in paperwork if you have not done so

Very very exciting news .. there are 6 drivers represemting Wales at the World Championships this September for Scurry & Trials and EVERY MEMBER OF THE CHOSEN TEAM is a PCDG CLUB MEMBER!
Our members drove brilliantly at the selection evemt for Wales - Bridgend County Show in July ( see separate photo album and news entry). SATURDAY 2nd AUGUST ! The club is pleased to be invited back for the third time to do a fast paced main ring demo of sports driving to beatsy music. Junior and adult drivers will be taking up the challenge of completing a flowing scurry and trials course without dislodging balls. Do come and see what FUN we have driving our ponies!

Over the year since the last AGM , PCDG has held 22 driving events.
The club has 63 members, from Powys, Monmouthshire , the Valleys , Carmarthenshire , Pembrokeshire, Gloucestershire and Bristol. Most of these are drivers, 8 members are disabled and 17 are young drivers
In July 2013 after the AGM we held our first camp with James Broome. This was a two day camp attended by 11 drivers.

After the prizegiving where 13 trophies and many more rosettes were awarded we all enjoyed a fabulous meal and socialising before launching into the nitty gritty of the AGM. Bob Short has done a " Johnny English" and is permanently abroad so a new chairman Peter Sidebottom was elected. Jonathan Rees was elected to the post of President. The AGM was very well attended by over 30 people. The awards for the winter series were given out and were presented by Jemma Alderson the Powys Community Sports Development Officer.Sue Johnson was awarded her Powys Area Sports Personality of the Year runner up award from the sports council and an outstanding achievement rosette from the club for her success at the World FEI Paradrivers championships where she was 7th individually , and WON the cones class.
